A LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDERS

The story of RIXO began in 2015, in the living room of our University flat. We had become best friends over our love of vintage, and we wanted to bridge amazing fit with unique designs and prints. Our philosophy has stayed the same ever since, and we are so proud to now be dressing women all over the world.

With hand-painted prints, premium materials and vintage-inspired silhouettes, our mission is to dress you to feel your very best, in pieces you’ll treasure for years to come.

CEO and Co-founder, Henrietta focuses on RIXO’s long-term strategy and drives culture (both internally and externally) all whilst ensuring the brand remains true to its core DNA and values.

Orlagh

Design Director and Co-founder, Orlagh oversees the whole design process from start to finish. Orlagh works closely with the garment technicians, print designers and buyers, and still hand paints signature RIXO prints at the London HQ.

Creating a global community has always been the driving force behind what we do – our #humansofrixo hashtag has been with us since the very beginning (back in 2015). Unique Prints, Painted by Hand

Our first-ever collection featured hand-painted prints we created in our University living room – thankfully our housemates didn’t mind losing the lounge to a sea of paintings and fabric swatches! As we’ve grown we haven’t lost this special touch – Co-founder and Design Director Orlagh still paints our prints by hand, but now from our London HQ.
